Coda AI is the native artificial intelligence integrated into Coda, the productivity platform that unifies text documents, spreadsheets, and collaborative database apps in a single place. Released to empower teams to automate their workflows, Coda AI works as a copilot to write, summarize, search internal information, and, most importantly, fill smart tables with structured data automatically using artificial intelligence.

How it works

Unlike isolated text assistants, Coda AI is aware of the entire structure of your document (referred to as a "doc"). Users can utilize AI in three ways: by adding chat blocks for brainstorming on the page, creating AI columns in tables (which pull data from other columns and generate bulk personalized results), or creating background automations that automatically trigger smart tasks when a button is clicked or a specific time is reached.
